Drivetime

I was on my way to Hamburg by city train, the battery of my smartphone was empty, I didn't have a book with me and the seats around me were empty. So I stared out the window, took in the passing landscape and lost myself in my thoughts. Later I realized that I could only remember individual fragments of the landscape I saw, but no details.

In the work Drivetime I deliberately use defocusing, so that individual elements of the picture can be guessed at, but no details can be seen.
